DCEF FALL Teacher Mini-Grants

DCEF $300.00 Teacher Mini-Grants are designed to give teachers and students extra learning opportunities by providing extra materials or experiences related to the academic curriculum. Mini-Grant criteria require projects to be closely aligned with North Carolina’s Standard Course of Study.

Mini-Grants are awarded to teachers who propose innovative and educational projects with realistic goals, direct benefit to students and a reasonable budget.


Starting Fall of 2017, DCEF has changed the dates for awarding Teacher Mini-Grants.

DCEF Mini-Grants will only be awarded ONCE a school year:  only in the Fall!

Each year Mini-Grants will be awarded by:                                              October 1 
Winners Evaluation Form returned to DCEF by:                                   December 1

Mini-Grants applications are submitted, in WORD and via email, directly to:   dcefnc@gmail.com
The Mini-Grant Committee of the Davidson County Education Foundation and the sponsor/family members makes all selections. Recipients and non-recipients receive personal letters by mail/email informing them of their grant status. Recipients are presented their checks by a member of the Mini-Grant Committee and DCEF Board Members.

To date, DCEF has administered 251 projects totaling $128,394.27.
